KITCHEN WORKTOPS HARLOW

Bespoke granite, quartz and porcelain across CM17 to CM20

Planning a kitchen renovation in Harlow? We design, fabricate and install bespoke stone worktops for homes across CM17 to CM20, from the Old Harlow conservation area to the family homes of Church Langley, Newhall, Mark Hall, Sumners and Staple Tye.

A Harlow kitchen deserves a worktop to match.

Harlow is one of our closest towns and one we know inside out. The Old Harlow market town carries surviving period and listed properties, the post-war new town brings extensive estate housing across Mark Hall, Sumners and Staple Tye, and the newer Newhall and Church Langley developments add contemporary family homes with kitchen briefs to match. Almost every era of British housing is represented somewhere in the CM postcodes.

Our workshop is based in Nazeing, around five miles west of Harlow via the A414. That proximity is genuinely useful: same-day site visits when we need them, our one-day installation routine working comfortably even on tight logistics, and our team familiar enough with the area to plan parking and access without us having to ask. We have a strong run of recent Harlow projects on our portfolio, including the Artemistone Carrara installation featured below alongside Calacatta Merino in Old Harlow, Vector Nu in Church Langley and several Carrara and Shimmer finishes elsewhere across town.

Whether you’re working with a Harlow kitchen designer, a builder running an extension or new build, or you’re sourcing the worktop yourself, we’re happy to come out for a free, no-obligation template and quote.

Worktops we install across Harlow

Most Harlow kitchens we work on land somewhere in the quartz, granite or porcelain family. The choice usually comes down to look, feel and how the space is used day to day.

Quartz worktops are by far the most popular choice in Harlow. Hard-wearing, almost zero maintenance and available in everything from clean Carrara whites to dramatic veined slabs. Our Artemistone range covers the marble-effect options most homeowners are drawn to, and we’ve fitted Carrara, Calacatta Merino, Vector Nu and Grey Shimmer locally in the past couple of years.

Granite worktops are a natural stone with proper character. Ideal if you want depth, movement and the kind of detail no two slabs share. A strong choice for the older Old Harlow properties where natural stone reads as right for the building, and for clients in the newer estates wanting something with more visual weight than a standard quartz.

Porcelain and sintered stone are increasingly popular with the architects we work with on contemporary Harlow extensions and new-builds, particularly across Newhall and Church Langley. Lightweight, full-body and suitable for outdoor kitchens too, a frequent request from clients with the kind of landscaped gardens common in the newer developments.

Across our Harlow work we hold a comprehensive sample library and are happy to bring colours and finishes out to your home so you can see them against your cabinetry, flooring and lighting before you commit.

Recent Harlow project: Artemistone Carrara

One of our recent Harlow installations was finished in Artemistone Carrara Quartz. A clean, bright white stone with the soft grey veining of classic Carrara marble, but engineered for everyday family kitchen use without the staining, etching and resealing that real marble demands.

Artemistone Carrara is one of our most-requested whites across the CM postcodes and pairs particularly well with shaker cabinetry in off-whites, soft greens and muted blues, all common in the Newhall and Church Langley kitchens we see. For Old Harlow period properties it works equally well in a honed finish for a look that feels right alongside original features.

Harlow worktop FAQs

Which Harlow postcodes do you cover?

We cover all of CM17, CM18, CM19 and CM20, including the Old Harlow conservation area, Church Langley, Newhall, Mark Hall, Sumners and Staple Tye. We also work right across the wider area including Epping, Bishop’s Stortford and Loughton.

How long does the process take from quote to installed worktop?

Once we’ve templated your kitchen (usually around two weeks after your cabinetry is in place), fabrication takes 7 to 10 working days. The installation itself is completed in a single day, so you’re not left without a working kitchen for any longer than necessary.

Do you work on Old Harlow period properties?

Yes. Old Harlow has a good supply of period and listed properties around the market square and we’ve fitted worktops in plenty of them, including a recent Calacatta Merino installation. For older homes we tend to recommend honed-finish quartz or natural granite for a look that feels right alongside original features but handles modern family use.

Do you handle the larger Newhall and Church Langley kitchens?

Yes. The newer Newhall and Church Langley developments often have generously sized kitchen-diners with island runs of four to five metres or full-height splashbacks. We routinely fabricate single-slab runs at this scale in quartz, granite and porcelain.

Do you offer free quotes in Harlow?

Yes. We provide free, no-obligation quotes for any worktop project in Harlow. You can submit measurements and your stone choice through our online quote form, or arrange a home visit if you’d prefer to discuss options in person.

What guarantee do you offer?

All our worktops come with a 10-year guarantee. We’re Checkatrade-approved with hundreds of completed projects across Essex, east London and Hertfordshire.
