KITCHEN WORKTOPS ESSEX

Bespoke granite, quartz and porcelain across the county

We design, fabricate and install bespoke stone worktops across Essex, from the affluent commuter belt of Loughton, Buckhurst Hill and Chigwell to the market towns and post-war new towns further out. One workshop, one team, every postcode in the county.

Stone worktops across the whole of Essex.

Essex covers a remarkable range of housing in not many miles. The Central-line affluent belt around Loughton, Buckhurst Hill and Chigwell brings substantial Edwardian and 1930s detached homes. Epping and Brentwood add market towns with strong Crossrail and Central-line commuter pull. Harlow brings a post-war new town alongside the surviving Old Harlow conservation area. Our Essex work reflects all of it.

Our workshop is based in Nazeing, just inside the Essex border. From there our nearest Essex postcode (Harlow, around five miles away) and our furthest (Brentwood, around 22) are both well within easy reach for templating, delivery and our one-day installation. We’ve been installing worktops across Essex for over a decade with several recent projects on our portfolio.

Whether you’re working with an Essex kitchen designer, a builder running an extension or new build, or you’re sourcing the worktop yourself, we’re happy to come out for a free, no-obligation template and quote anywhere in the county.

Worktops we install across Essex

Most Essex kitchens we work on land somewhere in the quartz, granite or porcelain family. The choice usually comes down to look, feel and how the space is used day to day.

Quartz worktops are by far the most popular choice across Essex. Hard-wearing, almost zero maintenance and available in everything from clean Carrara whites to dramatic veined slabs. Our Artemistone range covers the marble-effect options most homeowners are drawn to, and we’ve fitted Carrara, Calacatta, Arabescato and Thunder Black across the county in the past couple of years.

Granite worktops are a natural stone with proper character. Ideal if you want depth, movement and the kind of detail no two slabs share. A strong choice for the larger Edwardian and 1930s detached properties of Loughton, Buckhurst Hill and Chigwell where natural stone reads as right for the building.

Porcelain and sintered stone are increasingly popular with the architects we work with on contemporary Essex extensions and new-builds, particularly across Newhall, Church Langley and the Shenfield Crossrail belt. Lightweight, full-body and suitable for outdoor kitchens too.

Wherever in Essex you are, we hold a comprehensive sample library and are happy to bring colours and finishes out to your home so you can see them against your cabinetry, flooring and lighting before you commit.

Recent Essex project: Calacatta Quartz, Brentwood

One of our recent Essex installations was finished in Calacatta Quartz on a substantial Brentwood family-home renovation. A bright white stone with the bold grey and gold veining of classic Calacatta marble, but engineered for everyday family kitchen use without the staining and resealing real marble demands.

Calacatta is one of our most-requested whites across Essex, particularly in the larger Crossrail-era family-home builds around Shenfield, Hutton and the IG postcodes. It pairs particularly well with handleless cabinetry in white, pale grey or natural oak.

Essex worktop FAQs

Which Essex postcodes do you cover?

We work across IG, CM and the parts of EN, SS and RM that fall in Essex, including Loughton, Buckhurst Hill, Chigwell, Epping, Brentwood and Harlow. Each town has a dedicated page below.

How long does the process take from quote to installed worktop?

Once we’ve templated your kitchen (usually around two weeks after your cabinetry is in place), fabrication takes 7 to 10 working days. The installation itself is completed in a single day, so you’re not left without a working kitchen for any longer than necessary.

How far across Essex do you cover?

All of west and central Essex comfortably. Our nearest Essex postcode (Harlow) is around five miles from the workshop, Loughton is six, Epping is six, Buckhurst Hill is seven, Chigwell is nine and Brentwood is around 22. The process is the same wherever in the county you are: free templating, fixed quote, single-day fit.

Do you handle the larger IG-postcode kitchens?

Yes. The substantial detached and gated properties of Loughton, Buckhurst Hill and Chigwell often have generously sized kitchens where the island runs four to six metres or the worktop carries up the wall as a full-height splashback. We routinely fabricate single-slab runs at this scale in quartz, granite and porcelain.

Do you offer free quotes anywhere in Essex?

Yes. We provide free, no-obligation quotes for any worktop project in the county. You can submit measurements and your stone choice through our online quote form, or arrange a home visit if you’d prefer to discuss options in person.

What guarantee do you offer?

All our worktops come with a 10-year guarantee. We’re Checkatrade-approved with hundreds of completed projects across Essex, east London and Hertfordshire.
