Just fitted into this stunning kitchen space in Stansted, Essex: Artemistone Mirage Gold in a generous 30mm, a stone with real presence and a warm, luxurious character that lifts the whole room.

The island takes centre stage, finished with waterfall end panels that carry the Mirage Gold from the surface down to the floor in a single, uninterrupted sweep. It’s a detail that gives the island a sense of weight and architecture, letting the dramatic veining flow continuously across every visible face.

To complete the look, we installed a splashback in the same stone underneath the wall cabinets. Taking the material vertical rather than breaking the design with tiles or a painted finish keeps everything feeling considered and cohesive, and it really sets the design off against the cabinetry above.
