For this Great Amwell home, we fabricated the kitchen and utility in Artemistone Schilthorn quartz, a beautifully understated stone with a clean, subtle character that lets the fabrication details speak for themselves.
The worktops were cut in 20mm and installed across the main kitchen, with the peninsula finished with a waterfall end panel that carries the stone from the surface down to the floor in a single, uninterrupted sweep. It is a detail that always draws the eye and gives the peninsula a real sense of architecture within the room.
Around the rest of the space, we took care to keep every surface in the same material. The window sills were installed flush to the worktops for a seamless transition, upstands run the length of the kitchen, and a small section of wall cladding ties the scheme together. The utility room was completed to the same standard, giving the whole property a consistent, considered finish from front to back.
